How it works
A practice run for your website.
SignalRaid checks your page with a simulated audience before you send real visitors to it. You get a clear first fix and the evidence behind the suggestion.
1. Tell us what to test
Paste a webpage and choose what you want visitors to do: buy, book, contact you, or sign up. You can add an image ad or a video up to 30 seconds too. For video, we inspect three still frames; add any spoken message yourself. We do not inspect audio or the full motion.
2. Choose your simulated audience
Quick uses 250 simulated visitors. Deep uses 1,000. Stress uses 2,500. They are repeatable modeled perspectives, not real people, and they never visit your site. Some are more skeptical or price-sensitive than others, which helps expose different possible questions before you pay for traffic.
A larger panel checks more kinds of visitors. It does not make a promise about your real sales.
3. Watch the journey
The model checks whether visitors may understand the page, trust what it says, and feel ready to take the action you chose. It shows where simulated visitors continue or hesitate.
4. Make one useful change
Your report starts with the first change to consider, why it may matter, what SignalRaid actually saw on your page, and how to check the change with real visitors.
If SignalRaid cannot read or verify something, it says so. A simulation is a way to find a sensible first test; real customer results are the final answer.
Technical method and limitations
For people who want to see how the model, evidence labels, and repeat tests work.
Synthetic profiles are reproducible models
A profile is a deterministic set of decision-relevant attributes: awareness, problem severity, urgency, motivation, price sensitivity, skepticism, proof need, device, traffic source, familiarity and prior experience. It is not a recruited person and cannot supply a customer quote.
The seed, audience configuration, panel depth and engine version are preserved with every Raid. The same input and seed reproduce the same panel. Quick, Deep and Stress Raids change diagnostic depth; a larger panel does not automatically make a result more truthful.
The selected outcome changes the model
Traffic, clicks and engagement emphasize attention, curiosity, message understanding, audience fit and destination relevance. Leads, signups and downloads add trust, friction and action confidence. Purchases additionally consider offer clarity, value perception, price resistance, risk and checkout friction.
A traffic Raid is not marked down because the panel lacks purchase confidence. RaidScore is a SignalRaid model-health score for the chosen objective, never a conversion probability.
What the current engine evaluates
Structured asset evidence drives the deterministic response model. Current evidence inputs include:
- The headline states what it is and who it's for
- The product, service or outcome is shown clearly
- The page shows how the offer or service works
- Visible reviews, testimonials, results or credentials
- A clear risk reducer or low-commitment next step
- Shipping cost & delivery time shown before checkout
- Returns / refund policy easy to find
- Trusted payment options and security cues
- Price is visible without friction
- Clearly explains why it beats alternatives
- Deliberately designed for mobile
- A short checkout, booking or enquiry process
- A genuine reason to act now
- Audience already recognises the brand
When SignalRaid cannot inspect an element directly, the input is user-provided and that limitation appears in the report. A low-confidence concern must be verified by a human before it is treated as a fact.
Evidence types never become interchangeable
Observed means a real result supplied or connected by the account owner. Simulated means the synthetic-audience model generated it. Inferred means the system drew a conclusion from evidence. Recommended means a change to test. Verify means SignalRaid could not confirm the potential issue.
Reality Anchor uses shrinkage, not blind matching
Reality Anchor is optional. The raw simulation continues to exist independently. When observed outcomes are entered, SignalRaid uses a beta-binomial prior centered on the modeled baseline. Small samples stay close to that prior; larger samples receive more weight.
The posterior baseline creates a log-odds adjustment applied assigmoid(logit(raw probability) + calibration adjustment). Relative differences between matched variants are preserved. The result is shown as calibrated and directional, never as a guaranteed future conversion rate.
Calibration strength is reported as Very Low, Low, Moderate or Strong from the observed sample size.
Re-Raid comparisons hold the audience constant
A matched Re-Raid reuses the simulation seed, panel configuration and audience traits. The tested asset or evidence changes; the modeled audience does not. This paired counterfactual design makes relative movement more meaningful than comparing unrelated synthetic crowds.
Original predictions remain preserved. Later observed outcomes must not rewrite what the model said beforehand.
Limitations
- Simulated response can be systematically wrong in ways real experiments reveal immediately.
- Self-reported evidence can be optimistic, incomplete or outdated.
- SignalRaid does not currently guarantee complete verification of interactive page behavior.
- Category regulation, seasonality, reputation and offline experience may not be represented.
- Modeled intent is not CTR, conversion rate, sales, revenue or observed human behaviour.
- Real observed outcomes remain the final ground truth.
Long-term validation standard
The intended validation loop is Prediction → Reality → Calibration. Predictions must be locked before outcomes are seen, then assessed for directional accuracy, ranking accuracy, lift error, break-point accuracy and cohort accuracy. SignalRaid does not claim those study results before a sufficient real dataset exists.
